The result is that the white hand appeared but instead of moving the image just the hand moved. To move the image in the editing window you stop moving the cursor and hold down the Space Key, which changes the Spot Healing Brush cursor into a white hand, showing that you can drag the image around the window.īy accident I pressed the space key while moving the cursor. There were also suggestions to change the cursor in Properties to one with a 'X' but it still disappears. I searched Google and there were lots of suggestions that Adobe should make it possible to change the cursor's color, but Adobe hasn't done that. What I found is that when trying to retouch spots on almost neutral gray areas, such as backgrounds, the circular cursor that shows the size and where the Spot Healing Brush is located disappears into the background, making it impossible to know where it is. There was embedded dust and obvious damage from where the negatives stuck to the glassine sleeves.įor some reason or other I decided to try and make the images presentable - perhaps I just like a big challenge. The negatives had been stored properly in glassine negative sleeves but had been damaged by condensation anyway.
